so far I have spent 4 yrs on the midget ..owned it for 38 yrs now after a number of yrs I was chasing rust patches on patches ....
so decided to totally strip been sand blasted ole metal cut out new panels fitted sprayed labour of love so far .. where do you stop spending putting new door cards then the next bit looks tatty .. lol

it was blown up watched go from my bed window...... im sure it was some sort of a hopper for coal some one will tell us

from my bedroom window in the distance there was a large concrete structure I think it was in the railway sidings .. think it used to fill the train carriages with coal.... they had to blow it up.....we had the day off school watched it being blown up...................

THATS it fantastic set up ..................... not many seen or heard of it my dad brought me a s/hand set loads of track lots of cars and busses etc...
we had a large house in carlton 6 beds.... I had one room as a play room could leave the set out for ages there was building with it was a part of Hornby?

can anyone remember the electric car set it had miniature cars busses lorries and could connect up the a Hornby train set you could drive the cars onto the train....it was a slot car set had jags police cars etc .the name will come to me soon

I remember central market used to be a record shop there I brought "MY NAME IS JACK" still got it then you had to run through the fish market coz of the smell well I was only 10 ish..... across the road to catch a bus red bus...TRENT? we had moved from the café to Conway Rd then...

many many people collect tractors good to keep the old stuff running steam roller .. you would turn heads if you went to the local Tesco's to do your weekly shop in one of them................................
