First of all let me give my name to you all. Its Steve born and bred in Nottingham from Bobbers Mill area. Moved to Bestwood Park in 1972. Join the Armed Forces back in 1978 until 2001. Then join the railway where i have worked ever since. Moved around the world during my forces career ending up in Lincolnshire where i settled down with my wife and 2 children to the present day. My folks stayed in Nottingham all their working lives until they sadly passed away. I love Nottingham and will always defend my city and county. It is an amazing city very different from the 1960s and 1970s where i grew up, schooled and got my career of to a good start at Nottingham Careers Information Centre outside the Victoria Centre. Sad to see the demise of the old Nottingham Victoria Station. One of the finest i have seen. I left some really good mates behind, Kev, Andy, Graham, Adrian, Richard and Tony. Also left some good females friends behind too. Katrina, Keely, Sue, Vicky and Jackie to name but a few.
