Having been aware of the bloke from 70's sampler LP's, i was in the Bakewell bookshop, strangely enough in Bakewell, when i saw his first album called Joy of A Toy, and having asked the nice bookshop bloke what he thought about it, bought it.

I had forgotten that he was once a member of Soft Machine, a band that made some very strange sounds, despite that, this cd is really good, with help from former Pink Floyd founder Syd Barrett, and Mike Oldfield (Tubular Bells) id say if you were into that whole"progressive" sort of thing, with some softer stuff too, the man is worth checking out.
