Dave Clark Five singer Smith dies

"...Mike Smith, the lead singer of 1960s British pop group The Dave Clark Five, has died at the age of 64.

He was admitted to hospital on Wednesday with a chest infection, confirmed his US agent, Margo Lewis.

This was a result of complications from a spinal cord injury sustained in 2003 which had left him paralysed from the waist down, she added..."

Saw him a few times (playing keyboards for Michael Ball ,he was also Balls manager)

So it's R.I.P. from me too

The Dave Clark Five was one of the first albums that I bought in my youth.....back then Glad All Over - Bits and Pieces - that was almost hard-rock back then - Love's Da-Capo (Neil Young edited the tapes) was progressive - Iron Butterfly was Heavy Metal.....".In The Garden Of Eden" was the original title.
