carltongal 101 Posted August 22, 2011 Report Share Posted August 22, 2011 Had a completely wasted morning, we were supposrd to have our gas meter replaced as it is faulty, they told us they were coming between 8am and 1pm 1,15 we were still waiting so my Hubby phoned them. they contacted the engineer who said he could not do the job because he didnt have the right tools on the van to do the job WHAT!!!!!!!!! now the good news is they have to pay us compensation now its Thursday, but i wont hold my bresth Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Beefsteak 305 Posted August 23, 2011 Report Share Posted August 23, 2011 Reminds me of my 'fun time' earlier in the year when I waited for a gas fitter to come and put a pipe in to the kitchen for the new cooker. I waited all day , kept ringing to be told that he was delayed on the previous job and would be with me shortly. Needless to say , at 18.30 hrs I rang to to cancell the job , and the cheecky tw*ts told me they'd send me a bill for a short term cancellation. Needless to say I told them ( in no uncertain terms) that they could 'Do what the penguins do' and shove their bill up their 4r53 !! I also told them I'd be sending them a bill for my wasted day !
