    I left in August 1962. I can recall Fred (Rex) Barks. Alf (Rubberneck) Kinder, Baker, Stuart, Denbo Green, Hadrill, Fez Parker, Jonny (one eye) Hall (Art), Ben Lyon, Woodward, Webb, Kendall. Flash Gordon, Clarke, Dan Appleton. Thornally and Caldwell. Discipline was tough but I now think that Ellis was an Academy for gentlemen. The school motto "Still Higher".
