On a few days break in Hayling Island at a Warners camp, arrived in beautiful sunshine on Monday but it's not stopped raining since,at least the snap is good.

Funny thing was me & Mrs C booked the ferry from Falmouthto St Maws but boarded the wrong boat. All boats seem the same to me with a pointed end & a blunt end. Anyhow when the bloke come to check our tickets we were on a two & half hour river cruise of the river Fal instead. Never mind it was free of charge .

Then all the Beeston buses went there in the 80s when Central Market became the "fish market" bus depot.

I got right to the surgery door earlier this year then got the call cancelling my blood test .

They do such things as vegan steaks, can't vouch for the taste though.
There is a vegan butchers shop in Sherwood, but hang on a minute, did I say butchers shop ?

He still has that yard on Greasley Street.
Henry Mellors the father of James Mellors was a true gentleman, met him numerous times when I lived in Bulwell.

Mrs C being one of them veggies has a Sunday dinner without the meat. Sorted.

Mrs C who never carries her card unless she goes out shopping on her own, very unusual that.
A few months ago I was laid up in bed with the flu & she went to Tesco in Vic Centre to do some essential shopping. A couple of months later two transactions for Amazon UK appeared on our joint bank statement.
She had only used this card that once only.
Lloyds bank refunded the money straight away no problem.
Since then it's cash only & if I'm told card only then I will spend my hard earned elsewhere.
Back in Sept we were at a Warner's holiday camp on the IOW where it was card payment only, no problem , we went out the camp & spent our money there & much cheaper too.
I refuse to pay over £6 for a pint.

I refuse point blank to aid the impending cashless society. What the point of hiding money under your bed if it is going to be worthless soon.

On the train to Skeg & requested two cups of tea from the girl with the trolly, card payment only she said. In that case I won't bother then I said.
