I remember there being a nudie camp way out the back of Newstead Sanatorium
when I was there covalescing 1965.
We used to watch the buggers scurrying through the farm at the back of the hospital to get there.

My missus had a very similar ailment about 15 years ago.
It was a disease called Ross River virus and was transmitted by mossies.
After an intense course of I don't know what from the GP after a couple of months she became free of it and it hasn't returned.
I hope yours clears succesfully soon.

Looks more like a mid to late 50s Austin to me and judging by the white bonnet it was a taxi from that era up to the mid 60s.

I could have been famous when driving a Lady Bay Laundry van.
I was hooting up Arkwright St into town and Jimi Hendrix and one of his mates ran across the road in front of me.
