Gert, i have not told anyone ever to stop smoking, like the rest on here you read into my posts something which is not there. I have pointed out the pitfalls of it, but only in response to some myth or fallacy quoted by one of my ever growing band of followers / stalkers. I will however point out that matthew wright went to some back street paul mackenna type so no wonder it didn't work. You will no doubt all be pleased to know that : 1) I am back 2) I had a thoroughly fantastic time in sunny (at times) France 3) The first ever (blokes name that keeps getting censored) Stop smoking clinic in Nottingham took place last Saturday. There were 8 people in attendance and from the reaction and feedback i have received, all 8 were absolutely delighted with the service they received and all 8 are now happy non smokers. You raise a very good point in your own comedic way mick. The government can not afford for everyone to stop smoking. They bring in about 6 BILLION a year in revenue and spend around ! BILLION on treating the victims. If everyone packed in tomorrow people would still need treatment for smoke related illnesses but no longer is the big cash cow there to pay for it. So it makes it even worse that they victimise smokers in the way they do, making them go outside when in public places etc etc. And it also makes you wonder why they promote the use of nicotine replacement therapy so much yet activel
