hi beefsteak, yes your mum would have been one of the first ppl to go as i said i went about 1959 but only boys went later in the year girls went earlier i dont know why - lol

what i can remember it wass an outdoor pool near the woods so it would have been cold,non of this heated stuff now days,we went to find it couple weeks ago all over grown so wee called in thee bull and specs for lunch
