  1. AS I RECALL, FACING VIC. STATION WITH WILL HILL ON MY RIGHT, THE TROCADERO WAS ON MY LEFT.
  2. I RECALL A RATHER POSH ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN TRINITY SQUARE CALLED THE TROCADERO. IN THE 1950'S I DROOLED OVER THEIR MINESTRONE SOUP SERVED WITH CRISPY BREAD, WITH GENEROUS SCRAPE OF BUTTER ON EACH MOUTHFUL! DOES THIS RING A BELL WITH ANYONE ELSE?
  3. I used to drink their delicious coffee in the mid to late 1950's when an engineering student at the nearby College. The upstairs room, decorated with various fishing nets, seaweed, shells, octopus and other sea faring creatures was called "THE SARGASSO". For character, atmosphere, service and coffee taste it was in my opinion unrivalled. Todays coffee chains ..... no comment.
