I have tried to reply to a pm from Lizzie M today and after typing the message and then pressing post or reply it wouldn't send so after a few attempts I then started a new message by going into Lizzie's profile as a new message and it still wouldn't go....HELP !

That takes me back to when after school one day we went for football training and on the way home had to pass the stacked up crates that were waiting for exchange for the following day. There were still a few bottles left in from that day and having worked up a sweat playing football decided to drink the milk that was left.It must have been standing in the sun and had gone off and instead of just putting the bottles back in the crate we chucked them towards the crate and some missed hit the floor smashed and made a right mess.Yes - morning play time, but if there were spares left over, some "favoured" ones were invited to drink it up later in the day. By that time it was lukewarm and totally vile !
We then legged it and thought nobody would know who it was. The next day in assembley the headmaster wanted to know everybody who had stopped behind for training the previous day and whittled it down to us and we were all promptly given the cane after assembley. Ouch !!!

It is the Midland Station. Tesco is opposite and there is a Sainsbury's as stated above corner of canal / carrington street. Spoilt for choice.!!!

Hi Ann if you look on Soul Source it gives you all the events all over the country. I went to the Polish Club last night for an event called Boogaloo which is mainly Mod themed.

I used to live near the Wheatsheaf when I was in my teens - a nice pub. Also in my teens I belonged to a scooter club and we used to meet in the upstairs room there.

The Wheatsheaf at bobbers mill was supposed to be re-opening again this summer. Work started on it at the end of June and it looked as though it was being gutted and a large skip was quickly filled with all the fittings and fixtures. It now appears that work has ceased and it is all boarded up again.
Anybody know anything more ?
