  1. I think her surname is Peake and she still lives in Strelley Village just down from me. The cottage she lives in was her father's and it came with the job at the hall. Now when I lived on Yatesbury Crescent my next door neighbours on one side both worked at Players and the lady then in later years went on to be the head cook at Glaisdale School and Sue was her assistant . I know Sue still lives in the cottage but not seen her for a few years because she is housebound now and has carers come on a daily basis. Not sure if she had a sister.
  2. Hi Dave would that have been Sue by any chance ?

Notts County Council started back in 1889 at The Shire Hall in High Pavement after centuries of administration by the magistrates at Quarter Sessions which dated back to feudal times.

    Stu Morris

Hi John (post #1) If you are on Facebook there is a page for the Dungeon Club called We Are The Mods ( members of the dungeon society) . They have a monthly meet up in The Bell in town and Stu Morriss was at the last meeting. There were photographs taken and Stu was on some of them. He is now confined to a wheelchair after having one leg amputated a few years ago. Check out the site there may be othe names you may know.
