OK I'll give it to you BIP :D I don't know that it has a street name I was just looking for Southbank. It's the nicest place to walk,especially on a sunny day. Did you read up about the flames?? they go off on the hour every hour after a certain time in the evening all year round. When I took that photo we were sitting in one of the restaurants on Southbank watching the world go by. It's a great sight & sound they make a massive whooshing noise it's really quite loud & if you aren't paying attention it can frighten the living daylights out of you . Although you are right about the Crown Casino complex, ..............it's not strictly right,I was actually looking for the stretch of walkway that the flames were situated on.I'll give you a clue, it's next to the Yarra river Mean aren't I ??

Doesn't look as though it's changed much Red. Looks well looked after though. As kids we spent many an hour with the olds in the beer garden. I remember just past there was an Ice cream kiosk,we used to get an ice cream sandwich,which we would squeeze until all the ice cream had gone soft & then eat the flattened wafer.......... oooo it was yummy !! Looking at the water mark near the steps there appears to be a series of numbers, are they original measurements??
