yeah really great. Don't know about you Anne but I reckon the Aussies & the Canadians are very similar in personality & humour. I have a bit to do with a company in Concorde Ontario & one of the guys there has a brill sense of humour,mind you I think he has British heritage that might be something to do with it!!

Good to hear shes still going is she still in Perth? that was the 1st place I lived when I emigrated to Oz,lovely city, but now I live in Victoria & get to Melbourne regularly I see it's more for the retired, [perth] in the sense that it's very laid back over there. I did join John's site before Christmas but havent really been on much ,always seem to have too much to do. Are all your family in Canada Anne?

Sounds much the same as here ,they earn heaps of cash and spend lots of cash,but what an experience! We have our opening weekend 9th June,so all the snow bunnies will be out in their designer gear,not much time for skiing though too much partying to do,in fact I don't think to date theres enough snow for skiing,but it's coming i'm sure

Hi Anne Have you heard from Jean Lang recently,what's she up to? I know you were at one point a regular contributor to her site when she ran it. Do you also hear from any of the others who regularly posted on there?

That was our first snow of the year Anne,we get heaps more than that too,but I wouldn't think we get anywhere near what you guys get. No haven't neen to either of those places,but the kids who come to Victoria to work the ski season always head off to Canada after our season has finished. I know of someone locally whose dad owns something calle Big white? i reckon it's called. He & his Aussie gilfriend are on an extended holiday,about 2 yrs now,over there working for the family business.

The AU$6.90 fish I can't remember what it is,it's not Snapper or Flake,maybe Grenadiar? anyway it's fabulous & big. The AU$4.90 flake is smaller but still good,but the chips? once they are luke warm they are uneatable, all frozen shite ,why can't someone pay a bloke to peel & prepare real chips from real potatoes? What we do is ring & order the fish & I make my own chips & open a tin of mushy peas,it's the only way to do it Baz

We pay AU $6.90 for a piece of fish in our local takeaway & the minimum chips is about AU$3, so AU $9.90 how does that compare,it's too early in the morning for me to convert
