Thanks for the welcome guys. Been reading these forums for a while, this is such a fab historical resource. I'm 40 years old and lived in London for the first half of that so I'll have nowhere the deep memories as some of the wise old chaps on here. This is pretty much home now, I'd rather be in the sticks than that melting 'pit' down south (although I have fallen in love with the Derbyshire Dales, and would move there if I won the lotto!). Aeelo all! Been chasing my tail for a while now trying to obtain a list as mentioned above to correct some maps. Invariably these areas are called localities, neighbourhoods, suburbs or communities. Really at first interested in areas within the city boundaries - that means Carlton, Arnold, Hucknall, West Bridgford, Beeston, Gedling, Netherfield, Colwick etc are all out! Did a search on here but no list as such.
