    One up at Stockwoods was pie, chips and peas. It was "up" because the kitchen was downstairs and plates were delivered by a lift. Saying "3 up" a few hundred times a day was quicker than "Pie chips and peas three times please". A group of us used to go when we were at Trent Poly in the 70s.
