noticed this pub looking a little sorry for itself while driving by a couple of months ago, in fact the pub in its demolished landscape reminded me of pictures of the (shameful) redevelopment of areas of nottingham in the 60's/70's i only ever had a pint once in this pub whilst on route to the variety club, which was about ten years ago-ish

Music and sports stars will help launch the city's first licensed urban music radio station in Radford next week. Nottingham-born footballer Jermaine Pennant, who plays for Liverpool, and Forest star Julian Bennett will attend the opening ceremony for Kemet Radio. Soul stars Kele Le Roc and top-ten artist and Urban Music Award-winner Omar will also grace the red carpet before performing at a launch concert at the Royal Concert Hall.
