Coates (who died in 1957) was born in Hucknall, and the town is to be the scene of the premiere of three newly-discovered songs which were written by Coates. http://www.bbc.co.uk...mshire-19650224 I wonder when was the last time Hucknall made the national news for artistic reasons?
