I bought a double bed from her. She was very nice but it could be a shock to meet her for the first time. I expect she is long dead by now.

We had a lady who had no nose, live in our area when I was a kid. I think she lived somewhere behind the Barleycorn. Seems like every area of Nottingham had their own version!

Was a old gent who lived on Shelford Road, RoT just up from the railway bridge back in the 50s who had no nose. IIRC, he lost it in WW1.

Never covered it up and you just saw two holes...he had some scars on his face and his walk wasn't the best. Had a walking stick that he used to wave at you if you stared to long!

Always smoking but I never saw him blow smoke out of his nose holes!

The lady was probably the same one who moved from rent to rent. I wish I could remember her name though.

I knew of someone with no ears and had those of a pig grafted on and improved cosmetically. He could hear reasonably well but unfortunately had a lot of crackling.
