My memories when I saw this view were of the Monday morning when large white painted letters appeared on the left hand roof. "Bill is a B'tard" I remember old 'Pot leg' hopping mad standing out on green street, looking up at some of the first 'Graffitti' The boys toilets are on the left, where the 'Racketeers' used to gather on the first day of term every September, awaiting the quaiking imports from TB juniors, who were only too aware of what initiation ceramony awaited them! The Rack complete with the Chicken Peck. Thanks to Caz and Andy for the pictures, More to follow.. Apparently what happened was [& i have it on good authority] after the incident, at the next assembly, old Pot leg walked up & down the aisles of assembled students, limping & looking at the floor & everyone wondered what the hell he was doing.He pulled a a few kids out and sent them to the front of the hall, now you might ask what was he doing? well..............as most of us only had one pair of shoes , the silly buggers who did the painting had paint all over their shoes & thats how he found out who did it :o we did hear a bit of goss as to who might have been responsable, but as we arent 100% sure we will archive it for the time being!! B) Yev gorra giv it to im! I can see him now with that distinctive limp, Hands clasped behind his back, head bowed, looking over the top of his glasses.
