DAVIDW 1,705
Looking in my stored spare wood bits in the shed , noticed this label on a piece of ply . Can only think it was from a drawer base off something (since demolished) that came down with us when we left Nottingham nearly 40 years ago . There 's a couple of references in the news archives . "DEAN & DAVIES, 61a City-road. Dunkirk, Nottingham, for Furniture Repairs, Re-upholstering, Re-polishing. telephone 74049. Board of Trade price regulations price control adhered to. " 08 September 1947 N.E.P. Never know someone may do an internet search for them in the future !
