LewisJames 0
Hi everyone I'm new here, glad to see such a busy forum about Nottingham at the moment. I just thought I would share a project that I have been working on with a young Man in Nottingham who has Aspergers, I am his support worker and he makes short films/documentaries etc. When everything started with the lockdowns he wanted to film areas for his Mum and Dad who are both unable to go out for 12 weeks. So far we have been able to do a few walkarounds of areas in Nottingham we have been able to get to on our sessions. If anyone would like to see somewhere new we can have a go. Brew 5,423
Interesting and I wish him well but please tell him to look before he crosses a road! From a viewers point it may give us a better idea if he stops once in awhile and looks around... Ideas - Arboretum - Canal walk - Highfields - Lace Market - Embankment... there's plenty to go at... Beekay 5,182
I echo Brew's opinion, having looked at Arnold and Market square. When crossing the square, the cameramans shadow looked like he was walking along with his hands in pockets as though just on a walkabout. Some sort of commentary would have been nice as well as occasional stop and look. I was amazed to see a bloke selling ice cream from a van on long row ! Started to look at Wollaton park, but as no voiceover I soon lost interest. And that's from someone who is in the process of doing a painting of the hall. Good luck to the lad !
