To me the first one sounds like elevator music or the background music in a posh hotel, the second one more like a silent movie soundtrack. I quite like Trad Jazz e.g Kenny Ball and his Jazz Men, Midnight in Moscow and the like. It wouldn't be life if we all liked the same things would it.
