sixxsix 0
As we all know, Nottingham was the home of the evil Sheriff of Nottingham so it would be rediculous to even suggest that Robin Hood and his Merry Men came from, and resided in, the same area. For the truth about the real home of Robin Hood click on the link below. http://www.robinhoodloxley.net/mycustompage0037.htm

Beefsteak 305
From what I have read, this site only confirms what common knowlege (and sense) already state. I.E. that Sherwood forest was a massive area , and that the legend of Robin Hood is actually a combination of several characters spread out over a long period of time So if someone is attempting to be controvertial as far as I'm concerned they may as well tell me the queen is German

Limey 242
BUT - Who is the official that says it is official?
Beefsteak 305
Well it is common knowlege that his address wasn't Mr R. Hood, Major Oak, Sherwood Forest , Nottinghamshire. And I doubt very much he had a P.O. box number C/O Wheeler gate Post Office. So any one who says it's official has my vote
