Life is what you make it and to be honest as much as I miss certain aspects of the uk, I have been really happy here. Yes it does have its downsides (like everywhere) but I can go anywhere at any time of day and night and be safe in the knowledge that no one is going to attack/mug me. (before anyone brings any cases recently to light, these ARE isolated) My daughter will get a fantastic education with a understanding of different cultures and values, and no not necessarily muslims - australians, americans,italians, swiss, and other arab kids.
