Resnick - where are(were) these flats?

Recommended Posts

Hi

I've recently gotten into John Harvey's Resnick novels & must say they are pretty good & very nostalgic to read. Harvey paints an excellent picture of the mid 90s.

I never watched the TV adaptations of the first 2 novels when they were on in 92/93 but did find a site that had torrents of VHS recordings which I downloaded & found quite enjoyable. Corrie's Roy Cropper plays his DS & Billy Ivory plays one of the DC's. Well worth a look, you can get them here (registration required)

Anyway, I digress, there were some nostalgic scenes, one of which was Tom Wilkinson walking past INTOTO on the corner of Hockley & Heathcote St. where I spent a few bob. Then there was this shot below of some flats, could be Basford or Hyson Green but they were demolished in '93 when this was done. I was thinking it could be the flats around what was Highcross Court off Hartley Road which has been done up & still stands. Any ideas?
