Bubblewrap 3,815
Luv the photo, especially of the window cleaner: 'there's lots of things that I can see, when I'm cleaning windows!' The window cleaner, a tradition that still stays. Window cleaner? I think it's the "local burglar"
Co-op Lad 1
When the Meadows clearance was taking place in the 1970,s we built a large wooden temporary store until the shopping centre was completed and then we fitted out the new Co-op Supermarket and demolished the wooden one. I don,t recall us ever doing this type of thing again.
mick2me 3,033
Well you should do because I can remember the same temp store at the top of westdale lane when we worked on the new supermarket in 1969 ("Pick it up Drew it might be a maiden's"). I think that supermarket is still there.
