Compo 10,328 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Share Posted July 20, 2012 As it was a nice afternoon I scrounged a lift into Thurso, the most northerly town on the British mainland. I had intended to have a lazy afternoon on the beach but there was a very low tide so I meandered down onto the rocky foreshore and collected a bag of Mussels for my tea. Whilst collecting, a salmon leapt out of the water just a few yards from me on its way into Thurso harbour and up river to spawn....which was nice. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
