Think your self lucky BIP ;even in my younger days the only women I seemed to attract always had excess baggage in tow (usually 2) if you know what I mean and one of them was invariably half cast. I consider my self very lucky ,in that Tracey was only 22 when we met ,(I was 35) no excess baggage but she was divorced!!!!!!!!!! LOL
  4. I seemed to remember it The wife has an uncle living there ( he was the mayor of Glastonbury for a while) and I vaguely remember him dishing the dirt on their family problems can't remember what it was all about but it was juicy at the time !!!

  6. I could never have wayfinders either as I had wide feet and they didn't do them in a double "E" fitting (no wonder I always got lost ) and do you remember the soles with the animal tracks on them?

Back to my blog "Is It Me" I have added a few others to my list of my employments that have gone My junior school "Saint Pauls" CofE on Carlton hill was demolished and is now a Tesco's; My senior school "Frank Wheldon Comprehensive" burnt down 3 or 4 years ago; I worked for a couple of weeks at Wrights and Dobsons next to the co op at the bottom of Carlton road and that has gone; 2 electricians I have employed to work on my house have gone bust ;as has two plumbers but that was their fault for being crap. And the fellow who took my wedding photos went bust before I got chance to pay him

We had one over here (Mid Cheshire) about 5years ago too and the T.V. cameras were concentrating on Liverpool .One stupid scally even had the gall to show the cameras a" crack that had been formed by the quake in the side of my pub" Bit strange thought I as it already had weeds growing out of it. Them Scousers will try it on any time

I was working in a bar in Ibiza (holiday romance gone wrong (it carried on when I came back for winter)) I was wearing an orange bin liner pretending to be Fred Flintstone (boy did I lose some weight that summer) I passed her a note which read "Hi my names Ian and I smell" (cos of the sweat) well it worked ,best chat up line ever Ps the stute ? Clifton miners wealfare?
