  1. I enjoy having a closet full of clean soft towels ready for after a workout, swim, or for the shower, but buying towels is often confusing. When I walk into a store to buy towels, I do not even read the labels. I just pick up the towels, feel their weight, their softness, and imagine how they will feel after a shower. You cannot do that when you buy towels online to save money. Several times I ordered towels and received towels I did not like. They were too thin and rough for my tastes. That is where the confusion sets in. How do you know what to buy if you cannot feel it? As an exampl
  2. I haven't roller-skated since I was a teen traveling abroad with my mum to visit family and furthermore, I haven't seen roller skates in a few decades. Does anyone "skate"? I would love to pass it on to my girls and have no idea where I would begin to find these skates. Does anyone still practice this activity? I would love to see if I would trip, fall and skin a knee, I miss being a kid and I truly feel that my kids would love it. Are there any family activity forums or groups? I definitely would love to hear any stories or anecdotes that you have. I'm abroad on a family matter now and loo
  3. You have stolen my idea! I often think about the amount of history that is buried beneath our feet. There are thousands of years of people who have walked on the same ground that we now walk on. Look at the incredible artifacts you have found. I have not been able to afford a good detector. I have a cheap version that I found on Amazon, but it isn't anything to brag about. I haven't found much more than a few coins, a ring, necklace, and a few little metal cars. I would like to invest in a better metal detector and see what I could find.
  4. There is always two sides of technology. The possibilities of this technology are endless. Imagine being able to send a vehicle such as these to a crash site immediately upon reports of any accident. The ability to view in real time what is happening could significantly improve rescue teams. Even in daily life such as police situations or fire rescue. The downside is the war applications which cannot be avoided. I would love to own one myself. It would be a blast to fly one of these and view the local area from the air. I have seen a video of Amazon creating a method to use this technology to
  5. I would agree that the cost of solar devices hasn't dropped very significantly over the years. I believe that the majority of people believed that it would drop more than it has, and that has not become a reality. There have been various other options such as wind that have made a difference I believe. Overall I feel that the major shift will occur when more people begin to invest into the technology and have it installed on an individual level. When everyone has the desire to replace their current energy supply with renewable energy things will make a major shift and power will become much mo
  6. It is amazing to see how schools have developed over the past decade or two. I remember when computers were still basic ideas in schools, and now almost every desk is equipped with a computer. I believe there will be a day that every student has a tablet that holds all of their school materials. They will simply plug into different ports in each class and the internet at home. They will do their homework on the tablets, pay for lunch, hold their report cards, and any other necessary school activity. We may even get to the point with technology that things such as calculus become basic subjects
