  14. :D As you drive down Sunset Boulevard, just west of Crescent Heights (across the street from the legendary Chateau Marmont) it's hard not to notice a giant statue of Bullwinkle J. Moose (holding Rocky the Flying Squirrel) on the south side of the Strip, :D B) He is Bullwinkle J. Moose, citizen of Frostbite Falls, Minnesota, president of Moosylvania, best pal of Rocket J. 15. Amboise Located 12 km north of Chenonceaux, on the Loire river, is the village of Amboise. Dominating the landscape of the village is Chateau Amboise. Although all but the royal apartments are still in ruin, this 15th century structure, is an awesome site. Leonardo da Vinci spent the last three years of his life here. The main street, which lies along the base of the Chateau at first seems quite touristy, but there are some nice shops, wonderful cafes, and a few terrific restaurants B) The Chateau Marmont is modeled on the Chataeu Amboise in the Loire Valley France. B) At the moment i can
  16. :D The Photo is of the CHATEAU MARMONT, 8221 Sunset Boulevard :D This transcript is from their web site B) Of all the haunted hotels, the Chateau Marmont has to be the most glamorous. Located on LA's Sunset Strip, it is where Clark Gable and Jean Harlow got sizzling while she was on her honeymoon with another man, and where John Belushi overdosed. Howard Hughes got himself a penthouse and a pair of binoculars and spied on the girls by the pool. If you're going to misbehave, a young William Holden was told, do it at the Marmont. And needless to say, the ghost at the Marmont is inclined t

  18. :D The answer is a grave problem. :D Cemetery workers in England started running out of places to bury people. They would dig up coffins after so many years and reuse the graves. In reopening these coffins, about 1 in 25 were found to have scratch marks on the inside and they realized they had been burying people alive. So they tied a string on the decease's wrist and led it through the coffin lid and up through the ground and tied it to a bell. Someone would have to sit out in the graveyard all night and listen for the bell. 'Graveyard shift' also refers to the practice of sitting there ov
