    HI Phil, one of your posts that has intrigued me for sometime is the one in which you refer to the Barry Fisher Incident.Can you recall what year this was, what was written and was the boy expelled?

      I would think about 58 to 60. He wrote a long derogatory piece about ‘Pig’ Hutchinson, the geography master, and pinned it up on the notice board in the 5th form corridor. He was expelled. Barry was a good lad. I used to run with him in the senior cross country team. What he wrote was probably true but he must have been seriously upset by something to make his feelings so public.
