  1. Hi All. I'm sorry for any confusion, your help has been invaluable. Thank you.
  2. Can any of help with with little problem I have? I've been told by my family that I had relatives that lived on Traffic Street in the meadows off Wilford Road. They were suppose to live in two large houses at the top of traffic street in the 1800's, their surnames were Barton and Chambers? I have tried the research usual resources, but I have drawn a blank so far. I would really appreciate any help you can give me.
  3. Cliff Ton. Thank you for the map, this more like the area my family came from. It would be nice to see a labelled map of Thurmans Yard, it would be even better to get a photograph. Thank you for all your help.

  9. Hi. I'm trying to find information about two families, the Chambers and Barton, who I believe to have lived in Houses between 32-54 Traffic Street close to the junction at Wilford Road. I'm not quite sure about the date, I think it would be late 1920 to 1940. If anyone can help with any information, it would be very helpful. Thank you..
  10. HI. I'm trying to locate a Abel Place, which was in the St Peter's district in Nottingham town centre, I believe it to have been mid way of Carrington Street late 1800's and disappeared sometime around 1901. I would like to find a map showing Abel Place. I hope has some information to help me find it's location. I am currently trying to fill in some blanks in my family Tree. My great grandfather's family was Chambers and I'm told the were in the fabric or lace trade, unfortunately, any census records are not available yet, so I'm trying to find any information of a Chambers family known
