Queueus for Corporation bus correct fare only causes fuss ask directions where to go "turn left here and up Long Row" no time to notice people round you ' but how many will astound you bargains galore with prices dropping todays the day to do your shopping to and froning, where are we going we've been by this place twice huslte bustle , aching muscle a rest would come in nice skinhead gather on a wall short hair cuts , some none at all turn ups high above their boots faded Levi denim suits Hare Krishnas friends of Jesus Mini skirts on beauties please us rockers garb in any weather wearing colours on their leather pigeons flapping , cameras snapping the kids upon a lion winos stewed , downbeats lewd the law to keep an eye on Flying Horse Wine Lodge and Bell daytime drinkers there do dwell turned out at three and what a sight cant wait to back in at night Exchange Walk hawkers shout the most betwixt the cries of Ev'nin Post a day down town is full and long amid the Nottinghamian throng a few bob lent the rest is spent less bus fare to go home so long to thy fine familiar skyline So long to the Council House dome 11 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

A lot were related to pitwork and pitmates, mostly amusing, some political and the rest , anything that came into my head.
