Find out more and get tickets (£7 advance, £8 on door) Parklives launches: 26 May at Colwick Park Free, fun activities this summer with Parklives Nottingham’s parks and open spaces will host more than a thousand fun and free activity sessions this summer. Nottingham City Council has teamed up with Coca-Cola Great Britain to bring ParkLives to the city to help residents get active in their community. Join us for the big launch event on Tuesday 26 May at Colwick Country Park, 11am - 3pm. The day will feature a packed programme for all ages and abilities including wall climbing, high rope courses as well as canoeing and powerboating on the lake. There will also be Thai Chi, rounders, archery, football, park ranger activities and plenty of picnic areas to rest and relax. In a special video message to Nottingham, Dolly had a go local slang, before urging everyone to help more Nottingham children to benefit from her charity Imagination Library. The programme gifts Nottingham children aged 0-5 to get a free book a month to help them to start developing their reading skills. You could help, by donating just £2 a month.
