However, we had a very old wall in the garden of our last house which was almost being held together by the ivy. If I tried to pull the ivy off the wall, chunks of lime mortar and bits of brick came off as well! I quite like some kinds of ivy - like that large leaved type that turns red in Autumn and grows up house walls. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
