rob237 89
Why do these alleged academics live on a different planet! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/5384278.stm I'd suggest more roadworks, and not especially well managed, than anywhere else in the 'civilised' world! Primarily because the infrastructure has been neglected for 50 years. IMO, the best method to ensure an excellent transport structure is to be bombed to hell, whilst losing a World War. Look no further than the Krauts and (especially) the Japs Hiroshima having about the best transport system that I've ever seen. For 'best in Europe' read 'worst in the world' Cheers Robt P. Bip 88
I thought that report was very reassuring the next time I'm stuck in a queue of traffic surrounded on both sides by cones I shall think of that report and say to myself it could be worse.... The way Bush & Blair are going, We might get a new road system then!
