Bip 88
:D Formed in the mid-sixties by seven young British-based musicians of West Indian descent, Symarip first made their mark as the Bees, supporting Prince Buster on a nationwide tour in 1967. Soon after, the group was signed to President, changed their name to The Pyramids and found UK chart success with 'Train Tour To Rainbow City'. Throughout the remainder of the sixties and early seventies, the septet worked tirelessly, cutting discs under a number of aliases, most notably Seven Letters and Symarip. :D :o Found this on the web... the band means nothing to me, never heard of them ! :o

admin 21
This is The Symarip Album I remember most... http://www.trojanrecords.net I nearly became one of Nottinghams first skinheads, backing out at the barbers at the last minute. Leaving me mate the only one with no hair. This would have been the Pete the barbers up in St Anns. He only had one hand and plugged his comb and other attachments into a socket on his arm.
