.... 23 Posted July 1, 2008 Report Share Posted July 1, 2008 Always thought the ultimate band for riffs were Led Zeppelin, they have so many classic ones. Whole Lotta Love, Black Dog and so on. I reckon Thin Lizzy would be up there for me too, Jailbreak, Black Rose etc. One of the great classic riffs is one of the most simple, Dave Davies on The Kinks' You really Got me. Lynyrd Skynyrd and Sweet Home Alabama for a slightly gentler paced riff. Finally Derek and The Dominoes of Eric Clapton and Duane Allman fame with Layla. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
