shari nj 0
Hello to all. I'm hoping that someone can name the Catholic cemetaries closeset St. Barnabas Cathedral. Since g grandfathers have been baptised/marriage at St. Barnabas it would only make sense that a few are buried in the area. Thank you Shari
mick2me 3,033
Are there graves in the grounds at St Barny's? Ask Chris Smith?
.... 23
Hello Shari I attend Saint Barnabas, there are no burials there. At one time the nearby General Cemetary at Canning Circus had a section for Roman Catholic burials but it has long been full. Probably the best bet is a mutli-denominational cemetery within the city boundaries: http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/sitemap/s..._cemeteries.htm http://www.nottinghamcity.gov.uk/cd_bs_maps_and_plans Other cemetary's details are shown on the relevant local council link, i.e. Redhill Cemetary near where I live is five miles from Saint Barnabas and would be registered under Gedling Borough Council. Best wishes.
