Stan 386
Touche,Rob, but as it does not shine bald heads, not much use for it! Brylcreem Next Generation Strong Gel
rob237 89
Apparently D.C.S.Compton regularly 'entertained' the Brylcreem MD's wife, during his spell as the Brylcreem Boy... Won't elaborate, as cricket is very much a no-no on the group... Hi to lynnie...pity Stanley & M2M have wrecked your thread! Cheers Robt P.
Stan 386
r Apparently D.C.S.Compton regularly 'entertained' the Brylcreem MD's wife, during his spell as the Brylcreem Boy... Sorry to try making light of Mick`s error in nominating lynnie as a Gel,(thought the light-hearted reference to another 'GEL'-Brylcreem though Brylcreem was spelt Brylcream(its the dyslexia y''know.) As cricket is a 'no-no' what about discussing his exploits playing for Arsenal, rather than his alleged adultery?
mick2me 3,033
How would I know how to spell Bryl Cr**m, Its before me time?
rob237 89
...what about discussing his exploits playing for Arsenal, rather than his alleged adultery? Ill at ease writing of these over-glamourized, over-publicized London based sporting organizations... Only watched him play soccer once, and that was at D...y - 'nuff said. His brother Leslie was also an outstanding player of that era. My first ever visit to a Trent Bridge Test (in 1954) saw him score a mere 278 not out...v Pakistan. Never ever has there been such a successful sportsman who was so relaxed, un-athletic and totally un-coordinated! He really was an amazing phenomenon... Cheers Robt P.
