Fynger 841 Posted August 11, 2010 Report Share Posted August 11, 2010 Now we see LED as car lights....Kimberley has just had its main road re-vamped and on all the crossings we have LED Belisha Beacons now....the LEDs are wrapped around the yellow globe ...not inside them.....when will streetlamps and road signs change ??? Ayupmeducks 1,730 Posted August 11, 2010 Report Share Posted August 11, 2010 We have led traffic lights, big rigs have led clearance lights, even scanners now have pure white leds as the light source instead of cold cathode fluorescents. Miners cap lamps are avialable in led versions, we have screw in led replacements for those energy saving fluoros too!! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
