Ayoopmducks 0
What a find! My Dad hails from Nottingham and although I wasn't born there, I did live there from about 6 months old till we emigrated to Australia when I was nearly four and then returned to Nottingham when I was 9 (then back to Oz at 10), back again at 14 (back here at 15) and then a year's visit back when I was 24. I'm in the midst of editing and publishing the short autobiography of my paternal Grandma, Annie Taylor, who some may remember from her many poems in the Evening Post back in the 1980s. Sadly, she passed away quite some years ago and Dad is now in his 70s so the race is on to get the book dome by Christmas so I can give him a copy for his present and send other copies to the family members still in Nottinghamshire. I look forward to discovering more and more about my paternal hometown (Mum was from Derby!) Cheers David Taylor
