Cliff Ton 10,584
Put the word "windmill" in the Search section of Picture the Past and you will get several hundred results. Some of them might be just a "mill" but it's still enough to keep anyone happy for hours
.... 24
Here's a resource for Nottinghamshire windmills: http://www.windmillworld.com/uk/nottinghamshire.htm Always admired the old windmill now converted into a private home on the little road between East Bridgford and Kneeton. Looking it up, I find there were two of them around East Bridgford: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Bridgford#Windmills http://www.flickr.com/search/?q=windmill&w=85061935%40N00 http://www.windmillworld.com/millid/162.htm

susyshoes 69
there was a windmill on Sandy lane Hucknall at the junction of 'Windmill Avenue and Sandy Lane'. It was knocked down in the 50s i think and a bungalow bult on the land, now the bungalow has gone and new houses are there. There are lots of pics of it on PTP
