Limey 242
Don't know how many of you are interested in car racing, but the Indycar Champion, Dan Wheldon, was killed yesterday in an accident at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Dan was a Brit - he moved to the States in 1999. He was twice the Indycar series champion, and won the Indy 500 race twice, including this year. He was 33 years old and leaves behind a wife and two small children. The accident was horrendous - at speeds approaching 230mph one car touched another and set off a chain reaction involving 15 cars on lap 11. The race was cancelled. A sad day for racing fans.
