The book with its selection of beautiful short stories is truly special also - I don't think I have a better book in my collection, magnificent. Always been intrigued by the story's setting in Lowdham. Being very familiar with the village and it's surrounds and doing quite a lot of running over the years, I like to imagine where Colin's early morning training runs were exactly. In my mind's eye he was running over to Lambley and back in order to get in shape for his showdown with 'Gunthorpe'. Colin Smith - working class hero.
