  1. Eviva Taverna brings back lots of memories. I did a short stint there in actual fact. Almost next door to Annabella's and across from the Victoria club.
  2. Howard Cooper... D.J @Camelot, he lived in Ruddington, Annanels D J, forget his name but he had a Corvette Stingray... Gold. You could not miss it around Nottingham. I believe he lived around the Bobber's Mill area. ???? I remember Babel's and Issabella's well. The manager at the time was Jim Fisher.

Howie Howard Cooper was the DJ along with others, Nott's Forest crowd especially Viv Anderson, Bertram Bowry,Rachel (blond), a girl called Elvira who were always with a girl with long dark hair, I think her name was Cathy who went out with someone called Steve, Louie Lyndsey and lots of others. There used to be another cool shop on the corner Bridlesmith gate and Poultry Lane , but I cant for the life of me remember the name, however, Bus Stop keeps flickering through my mind. Can anyone elaborate?
  6. I was devastated to learn that the old flying horse was turned into a shopping arcade. All that history and some very good memories erased. My Father R.I.P. used to drink in there and when I was of legal age it became my local. I used to drink in the Goose Fair bar mainly us trendies/clubbers preferred the upstairs bar on the right hand side. I don't recall all the names of the bars in there but the left hand bar was somewhat known as Dandy, the Goose Fair bar for the hippies, the bottom right hand bar for families and some slightly more tough characters and the upstairs bar leant more toward
