Probably stating the obvious and expect most Notts expats in the UK know this but those with a Sky box can see the local BBC, E.Midlands programmes , including the local news at 6.30 pm every night on 960 (if you get a bit home sick). I don't pay for a sky card anymore but this channel is one of the free ones on our old Sky box luckily. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Mines got the expired card still in it and we use it every day . Obviously you don't get the encrypted sky progs. But you get virtually all the channels that are on freeview plus a few extras like True Movies and Sony Movies , movies4men , horror channel etc. I expect its the same content that you get on the Freesat boxes. Our box is so old it doesn't have a hard drive inbuilt so can't comment on that. We have a separate recorder and that records anything. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
