mary1947 2,090
The other week eight of us went to Scotland on one of the Turkey special's. We had a great time, when we were on the road home the road was blocked by two lorries (trying to over take in bad weather) the road had ice and small amount of snow, now this did not stop Little Stevie the coach driver trying to get though, he turned the coach around and headed for another motorway, then a sign lot's of surface water drive with care, then we hit Fog, then snow, next hail, very heavy rain. What more could the weather throw at us. By this time we were about 20 miles from Blackpool bear in mind that we were going back to Ripley/Alfreton. Little Stevie then had to stop due to his Tacter? (not sure spelling) He was brilliant he had us singing gave encouragement and put us all at ease. Well done Little Stevie your company should be proud of you.
